Off Grid USA
This is a group that has been started from The Off Grid Home to help those wishing to or living off the grid to connect and help each other. The best example of how we can live with our toys of today while supplying most if not all of the resources need to run a home ourselves. This is a new group but we see a lot of interest!

Do you live unconnected to one or more public utlities? Do you wish to have your story spotlighted in an upcoming book?
Nick Rosen the creator of Off-Grid.net and writer of "How to Live Off-Grid" is currently writing and researching a book about living off the grid here is the United States. If you are interested in being interviewed for this book please contact me at OffGrid@OffGridUSA.com so that I can get you in touch with Nick to get your personal story incorporated. Nick's previous book highlighted those living off grid in the UK so now he's coming across the pond to get our stories here in the US.

Since opposite attract but rarely stay together my parents seperated early and I lived with my Mother. So my experiences with my grandparents lessened and I started my adult life after my Mother's example.
